We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Legal Secretary to join our clients growing Private Client/Contentious Probate team in Huddersfield. As a Legal Secretary, you will provide crucial support to our client's solicitors, handling a variety of tasks related to wills, probate, and lasting powers of attorney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal documentation, including letters of advice, wills, and lasting powers of attorney.
- Handle sensitive client communications via telephone and email.
- Manage digital dictation and audio typing.
- Utilise case management systems for document handling and information storage.
- Assist with online form completion and form preparation.
- Provide administrative support to solicitors and paralegals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a secretary, preferably in a legal environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
