Automotive Technician

Location: Redditch

Salary: Up to £35,000 + Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and fix vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach.
• Meet with customers to understand and address their problems.
• Stay updated on new vehicle technology and repair techniques.
• Perform diagnosis, repairs, and servicing to the highest standards.
• Follow safe working practices for yourself and others.
• Consult colleagues and supervisors for complex issues.
• Use diagnostic equipment and road testing to ensure quality work.
• Complete service documentation according to warranty and dealership requirements.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping standards and proper use of tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent customer service and share best practices.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a dealership setting as a Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic (or similar)
• License: Valid Driving License required; MOT license preferred but not essential
