About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Crisis Support Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our team, you will provide emotional support and a listening ear to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to support individuals in recovery.
  • Offer immediate support with problem-solving and identify risk factors to safeguard individuals.
  • Complete appropriate signposting to internal and external services based on individual needs.
  • Ensure record-keeping is maintained to the required standards and contribute to service monitoring requirements.
  • Represent the service in a professional manner at all times.
  • Contribute to the co-development of the service by supporting service user, family, and carer involvement.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with experience in the mental health sector and a proven track record of supporting individuals in distress. Excellent communication skills and a calm, professional attitude are essential. The ideal candidate will be resilient, focused, and able to navigate high call demands.
