About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join our US/UK Tax team at Rutherford Briant. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Partner to expand our client base and provide expert tax advice to high-net worth individuals and entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Advisory: Work with our internal team and external clients to provide tax advisory services, including succession planning, restructuring projects, and preparing advisory reports.
  • Signing Off Tax Returns: Sign off on US and UK tax returns prepared by team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with high-net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, providing advisory services and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Staff Management: Plan and assign staff to ensure a spread of experience and maintain client confidence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with lawyers, wealth advisers, and other professionals to support high-net worth individuals with US aspects of their lives.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification (CTA or ATT) and Enrolled Agent Status.
  • Experience: Strong experience working across US/UK Tax, preferably at Senior Manager grade or with the ability to step into this level.
  • Technical Skills: Experience signing off on UK personal returns and US tax forms, with a strong understanding of dual residents' technical complexities.
