Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Breedon Group plc. As a key member of our Surfacing team, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery of products from our Quarries and Plants across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sales and distribution queries, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Communicate effectively with the Logistics, Commercial & Production teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Track orders from start to finish, ensuring high levels of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deal with customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer information and sales data.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve Key Performance Indicator targets.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of the Construction & Transport industries (desirable).
  • Experience in transport planning and road haulage.
  • A hard-working approach with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and anticipate potential problems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good computer skills and attention to detail.
