Pursuing the role of Contract Instructor Pilots/CI on the MC-130J MDS at OBXtek offers an attractive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 annually.

About the Job:

As an instructor, you will be responsible for providing instruction in accordance with applicable DoD, USSOCOM, and Air Force Instructions to meet USAF proficiency and qualification standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teach preparatory courses, initial qualification, transition, upgrade qualification, and key staff, continuation, refresher course, etc. training.
  2. Use air traffic control services and radio calls during instruction that are in accordance with current FAA guidelines.
  3. Support instruction of AFSOC Instrument Refresher Course, Crew Resource Management Course, and Night Vision Devices with qualified instructors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years AFSOC aircrew experience required.
  • Instructor candidates must have been certified in the proposed MDS aircraft within the previous two years or have specific experience as mentioned below.
