Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Hydraulic Systems Designer to join our innovative team at Austin Fraser. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in designing, validating, and testing hydraulic systems for cutting-edge projects within the marine industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with our engineering team to develop advanced hydraulic systems for the marine sector.
  2. Develop detailed designs and specifications for hydraulic systems, including 3D modeling and manufacturing drawings.
  3. Provide expert technical support for vessel commissioning.

Essential Qualifications:
  1. Degree in Fluid Power, Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Systems engineering.
  2. NFPC (or equivalent) Hydraulics Training (training can be provided for suitable candidates).
  3. Strong understanding of Industrial and Mobile hydraulic systems and components.
  4. Knowledge of Mechanical systems.
  5. Proficiency in CAD design, preferably Siemens NX.

Bonus Skills:
  1. Experience with Simcenter AMEsim simulation software.
  2. Familiarity with marine industry, classification societies, and electrical systems or PLC systems.
