The Ritz London is seeking a skilled and attentive individual to join our esteemed Palm Court team as an Afternoon Tea Commis Waiter or Waitress.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to assist in the smooth and efficient running of our Afternoon Tea service. This includes preparing for the service, delivering each course with the Chef De Rang, preparing mise en place, and collecting any items needed from the kitchen, all while ensuring all The Ritz London standards are reached while assisting our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare for the Afternoon Tea service, including setting up the Palm Court and ensuring all necessary items are available.
  • Deliver each course with the Chef De Rang, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standard.
  • Prepare mise en place, including garnishes and other items needed for the service.
  • Collect any items needed from the kitchen, ensuring that all requests are fulfilled promptly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a 5* property is desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a high level of service to our clients.
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Good command of the English language, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests.
