About the Role of Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dedicated team of professionals, committed to delivering high-quality results. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial and contractual arrangements associated with projects and works.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a construction-based field and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work within project time constraints. They will also possess excellent communication skills to effectively deal with contractors, site staff, third-party suppliers, and client teams.

Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor
  1. Manage commercial and contractual arrangements associated with projects and works.
  2. Monitor and assess project progress on a monthly basis.
  3. Responsible for subcontractor enquiries, selection, and order in line with individual project requirements.
  4. Ensure business needs are met with regards to profit margin and risk identification.
  5. Initiate invoicing of customers for work completed in line with commercial and contractual arrangements in place.
  6. Price, negotiate, and agree costs and budgets for projects and project variances.
  7. Resolve commercial and contractual disputes with the customer.
  8. Produce financial and management reports that monitor project progress.
Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor
  1. Degree qualified in a construction-based field.
  2. Good organizational skills and ability to work within project time constraints.
  3. Excellent communication skills to effectively deal with contractors, site staff, third-party suppliers, and client teams.
What We Offer

This role comes with a salary of £70k - £80k, depending on experience. In addition to gaining valuable experience with an established contractor, you'll take on a dynamic role spanning multiple projects. This is a prime opportunity for growth and development.
