Join Our Team as a Personal Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Tutor to join our team at Paragon Skills. As a Personal Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality learning experiences to our learners, helping them to achieve their full potential.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of apprenticeships and training, supporting learners in achieving their goals. As a Personal Tutor, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality learning experiences to learners, using a range of teaching methods and technologies.
  • Supporting learners through the effective use of learning resources and facilitating both workplace and off-the-job training.
  • Ensuring learners are fully prepared for End Point Assessment (EPA) and have a completed portfolio.
  • Harnessing the use of technology, learning resources, and virtual college to enhance the learning experience.
  • Conducting regular visits and reviews with learners and employers to monitor progress and provide feedback.
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of learners, including those with special educational needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A teaching qualification (AET, DET, Cert Ed, PGCE) and TAQA (Equivalent A1, D32, D33) certification.
  • Experience of delivering Level 5 Coaching Apprenticeships and a Level 5 Coaching Professional Qualification.
  • Relevant occupational competency within the coaching sector, at a minimum of management level.
  • A strong track record of supporting learners through End Point Assessment.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of learners with varying learning requirements.
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent Functional Skills qualifications.
