About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to join our team at Alexander Mae Recruitment. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge web applications using a range of technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop user interfaces, database models, and architectures for web applications
  • Collaborate with the team to translate functional and technical requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Participate in peer reviewing code and contribute to a culture of best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques, particularly in the front-end space

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and design patterns
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in unit testing and integration with external programs via APIs

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with UX design and REST APIs
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Angular and/or React
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (DevOps)
