Job Title: M&E Engineer

We are seeking a skilled M&E Engineer to join our mobile Service & Maintenance team at Johnson Controls International.

Job Summary:

As an M&E Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, operation, and maintenance of all equipment across a portfolio of buildings within the Midlands, UK. You will work to SFG20 standards for planned preventative maintenance and have experience of mechanical/electrical plant room equipment - air handling units, pumps, motors, pressurisation units, expansion vessels, booster sets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on M&E equipment
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure equipment is operating within acceptable parameters
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with equipment
  • Work with the team to develop and implement energy-saving initiatives
  • Support the development of the asset replacement programme
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in M&E operations and maintenance, preferably in a mobile role
  • In-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required
  • Computer literate (BMS, CMMS, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • 18th edition electrical qualification: experience and qualification for electrical installation
