Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Five Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children and young people who have Special Education Needs (SEN), providing support and encouragement to help them learn and thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils 1:1 in class and around the school
  • Help pupils access the curriculum and tailor lessons to their individual needs
  • Make learning fun and enjoyable for all pupils
  • Provide emotional support and help pupils calm down and remain focused

Requirements:

  • 2 years' worth of references, including one from a recent role working with children or vulnerable adults
  • A relevant DBS/Police check
  • Ability to work between 08:30-15:30, 2-5 days a week
