Pain Physiotherapist Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pain Physiotherapist to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with chronic pain.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and mentoring junior staff members. You will also participate in regular team meetings, joint working with colleagues, and supervision to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess patients with chronic pain, utilizing your expertise in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and other relevant practices.
  • To develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, focusing on strategies to manage persistent conditions and promote functional improvement.
  • To participate in regular team meetings, joint working with colleagues, and supervision to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

Essential
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).


Experience

Essential
  • Proven experience in chronic pain management, preferably in an integrated pain team setting.


Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.

Location: Broomfield, Chelmsford, Essex.
