Procurement Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Commercial function at RADIOACTIVE WASTE MANAGEMENT LIMITED.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the procurement of a variety of goods and services, working closely with the Commercial and Contract Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mini competitions, direct awards, and support in running tenders
• Participate in and moderate tender evaluation exercises
• Prepare contract award recommendation reports
• Ensure commercial activities are conducted in-line with internal processes
• Assist in the creation of procurement strategies for new contracts

Requirements:

• Experience working in a similar role within a Procurement team
• Experience of running end to end procurements
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Good understanding of Contract Management processes

Desirable:

• Experience of working in Public Sector and experience of PCR Regulations
• Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023
• Knowledge of Crown Commercial Services Framework
