Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Control and Compliance: Maintain all financial controls and systems within your role, recommending operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures.
  • Balance Sheet Ownership: Take ownership of balance sheet accounts and reviews with Finance stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly journals, month-end reporting, and analysis for management, as well as balance sheet reconciliations and flash reports.
  • Statutory Financial Statements: Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax return completion.
  • Indirect Tax and Local Tax: Liaise with internal and external audit teams, supporting indirect tax, local tax, and ad-hoc statistical reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA: Hold part-qualified status in a relevant accounting body, with 3+ years of experience in finance roles.
  • Month End Close Process: Demonstrate experience with the month end close process and process improvements.
  • Relationship Building: Showcase evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Flexible and Adaptable: Be a proactive individual with experience working in a flexible and changing environment.
