Safety Security Manager for Human Factors and Nuclear Capabilities

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of experts in Safety, Security, Safeguards, and Human Factors at the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL). As a Safety Security Manager for Human Factors and Nuclear Capabilities, you will be responsible for ensuring that all nuclear operations are conducted with the highest level of safety and security.
The successful candidate will have significant nuclear knowledge and experience, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and make sound decisions under pressure.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in managing budgets, leading cross-functional teams, and developing relationships with customers and stakeholders. They should be comfortable working in a highly regulated environment and have a strong understanding of nuclear safety and security regulations.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of experts in Safety, Security, Safeguards, and Human Factors
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure nuclear safety and security
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Providing training and guidance to employees on nuclear safety and security best practices
The salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
