Culinary Apprentice

As a culinary apprentice at Harvester, you will have the opportunity to master our menu and develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work closely with a close-knit team to ensure that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Be a champion of brand standards
• Keep your kitchen clean and organized
• Prepare everything needed before a busy shift
• Cook to specification and work with recipes

You don't need any prior experience, as we can teach you everything. If you are willing to learn and be proud to work with us, we can show you exactly what it takes to become a vital team member in any kitchen.

What Your Apprenticeship Includes:

• A mixture of face-to-face and remote catch-ups every 4-6 weeks
• A combination of on-the-job and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars
• Regular reviews with your apprentice, line manager, and lifetime trainer
• Feedback sessions to discuss your progress
• Obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths (if you don't already have GCSE or equivalent)
• 30 hours of paid work every week

Your wage will be £8.60 per hour for 16-20 year olds and £11.44 per hour for 21+ year olds. At Mitchells and Butlers, you will be working towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard over the course of 15 months.
