Purpose:

We are seeking an IPS Employment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach and providing person-centred advice and guidance to individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions. This role requires building positive relationships with local employers and stakeholders to enable individuals to secure sustainable paid employment.

This position is based in Dover, Kent, and involves working 65% of the time in-person in the community. The remaining time will be spent at the clinical team site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 25-30 individuals to assist them in securing paid employment
  • Deliver the IPS approach and provide person-centred support to individuals
  • Build relationships with local employers and stakeholders to facilitate employment opportunities

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering the IPS approach, preferably in a Primary care setting
  • Proven experience of supporting people to obtain or keep work
  • Proven experience of meeting and exceeding outcomes and targets

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
