Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drama Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Drama to GCSE and A-Level students, and contributing to the development of our Drama department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Drama to GCSE and A-Level students, developing and delivering engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Contribute to the development of our Drama department, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Assess and provide feedback to students, using a range of assessment methods to evaluate student progress.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a Drama Degree.
  • Experience of teaching Drama to KS3/4 students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and deadlines.
