Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that align with organizational objectives
  • Lead category management teams to negotiate contracts with suppliers and achieve cost savings
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize supply chain operations
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, supply chain management, procurement)
  • Professional certification in procurement (e.g., MCIPS)
  • Proven experience in a senior procurement role, preferably in a healthcare or public sector environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
