As a Strategic Procurement Leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop innovative solutions to complex procurement challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that align with organizational objectives
- Lead category management teams to negotiate contracts with suppliers and achieve cost savings
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize supply chain operations
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, supply chain management, procurement)
- Professional certification in procurement (e.g., MCIPS)
- Proven experience in a senior procurement role, preferably in a healthcare or public sector environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
