Job Summary

The Ashcroft Practice is seeking a highly organized and communicative medical receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Main Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling and rescheduling as needed.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns, providing accurate and empathetic support.
  • Process prescriptions, letters, and other patient documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Provide administrative support to the practice team, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.

Person Specification

We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is desirable, but not required.
