About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team on a Band 6 level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including acute care and community-based programs.
  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to promote independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6-12 months of NHS experience in acute setting, i.e. General Medicine, Elderly Care, Surgery.
  • Hold Occupational Therapy degree (MSc or BSc) and full HCPC registration.
  • Be available to commence the role within a maximum of 2 weeks from the confirmation and happy to commit to a minimum period of three months.
