Job Title: Interior Electronics Domain Engineer

Gordon Murray Group is a UK-based global luxury brand dedicated to creating and manufacturing the world's greatest driving cars. We are seeking an experienced Interior Electronics Domain Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and integrate interior electronics systems into the overall vehicle electrical architecture.
  • Manage electrical FG owned interior systems and collaborate with other function groups for system integration.
  • Integrate interior electronics into the vehicle electrical network architecture and package.
  • Ensure control units and peripherals are correctly located and packaged.
  • Manage technical deliverables, project plans, and open issues decks for assigned systems.
  • Comply with legislative, certification, environmental, and EMC requirements.
  • Specify and develop software features and functions with technical partners and suppliers.
  • Participate in system review, verification, and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with testing and validation colleagues for electrical development and testing.
  • Manage Tier 1 supplier relationships and coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality teams.
  • Provide support and training to manufacturing and service departments.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in interior electrical systems and component delivery in an automotive engineering environment.
  • Demonstrable understanding of electrical architectures and network technologies.
  • Experience in project engineering with Tier 1 suppliers and preparation of project documentation.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle networks and diagnostics.
  • Experience in system/component delivery within an APQP or similar framework.
  • Articulate and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Possession of an Electronics, Control Systems, Automotive, or similar honours engineering degree.
  • Full driving license and no visa or other restrictions for working in the UK or EU.
