Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join our team at Vuba. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements, managing logistics and transportation operations, and supporting business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements regarding Operator License, H&S, service quality, drivers' hours, and tacho regulations.
  • Manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are maintained in line with legal requirements and 'O' License requirements.
  • Support new business initiatives and projects, contributing to review meetings and change processes.
  • Establish and maintain communication networks with national, international, and local logistics providers to ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery of products.
  • Manage the company's pallet networks and sub-contractors, negotiating rates as required.

Requirements

  • Background in logistics distribution and supply chain management.
  • Qualification in logistics and/or experience in a similar role.
