Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Felixstowe Community Hospital. As a member of our care team, you will work closely with Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care to patients.

This role offers a competitive salary of £23,500 per annum, along with opportunities for professional development and flexible working arrangements.

Main Responsibilities

This role will involve meeting direct and indirect care needs of patients under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will also be responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care at all times, adhering to Trust policies and guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:
• Meeting the direct and indirect care needs of patients
• Providing support for patients with dementia and delirium
• Working effectively within the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A Care Certificate or equivalent
• Evidence of completed competencies as part of a professional portfolio
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Previous experience in a health setting
