Job Description:
SimWest Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Product Engineering Professional to join their design team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the company's continued success.

As a Product Engineering Professional, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products, as well as improving existing ones. You will work closely with our sales teams to provide design information for proposals and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £41,800 per annum, based on industry standards and location in Lowestoft, Suffolk. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including hybrid working options and regular pay and performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new products, as well as improve existing ones.
  • Work closely with sales teams to provide design information for proposals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in product engineering.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
