Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plant and Groundcare Engineer to join our team at Briggs Equipment. As a key member of our engineering services team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of diesel, petrol, and electrically powered small plant, agricultural, and ground care equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to breakdowns and fault-find issues with equipment
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any queries or concerns
  • Maintain company vehicles to a high standard and ensure correct parts stock
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships through high standards of service
Requirements
  • Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driving license and ability to use company vehicles
Benefits

Salary up to £36,000 based on a 40 hour working week, with overtime payable at x1.5 Monday-Saturday and x2 on Sunday. Vehicle available for private use if desired (tax to be paid).
