Trainee LGV Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee LGV Driver. As a Trainee LGV Driver, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the skills necessary to become a fully qualified large goods vehicle driver.

About the Role

This is a physically demanding role that involves collecting commercial waste from businesses in and around the Oxfordshire area. You will learn to drive and operate a variety of vehicles, including waste wheelers, front-end loaders, and roll-on-roll-offs.

You will be registered for LGV training, which will include attending training days and tests. Our Transport Training team will provide you with the support, guidance, and confidence to succeed in this role.

What We're Looking For
  • A full car driving licence for at least 6 months
  • An appetite to learn and the ability to take instruction and constructive criticism
