Citigroup Global Markets Limited seeks a skilled Data Quality Lead Analyst to contribute to the company's data quality standards. As a key member of the Data Governance team, you will lead the continuous improvement of data quality by assessing, evaluating, and analyzing data. Your expertise will ensure that data meets all required standards, and you will collaborate with others to monitor and remediate data concerns.

Responsibilities
  • Data Quality Metrics and Reporting: Develop and maintain metrics and reporting for various forums, used by executives to evaluate performance and address areas of need.
  • Drive Data Quality Measurement: Support activities to drive data quality measurement, produce data quality dashboards and reports, and implement data quality strategies to effectively govern data and improve data quality.
  • Lead Data Improvement Initiatives: Lead data improvement initiatives, processes, and creation of tools in line with requirements.
  • Liaise with Other Areas: Liaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions, and/or run data consumption demand and requirements.
  • Review Quality Analysis Results: Review quality analysis results and disposition data challenges through Citi's corresponding Data/Issue management process.
  • Lead Day-to-Day Activities: Lead day-to-day activities to support data quality resolution, and to optimize metrics reporting process.
  • Report Data Quality Issues: Report data quality issues through Citi's corresponding Data/Issue management process.
  • Support Senior Management: Support senior management strategic vision.
  • Manage Risk: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Several years of experience with defining and implementing data quality programs; banking or finance industry preferred.
  • Report Development: Experience in creating clear and concise reports for executive forums that tell a story and define specific calls to action.
  • Confluence Experience: Experience in Confluence or like tool to create user-friendly repository for constituents to obtain process-related information, action items, historical Q&As, etc.
  • Data Quality Programs: Experience with defining and implementing data quality programs.
  • Business Understanding: Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
  • Time Management: Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Collaboration: Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure, facilitate discussions.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University Degree: Bachelor's/university degree; master's degree preferred.
