We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team at Finning. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the repair and maintenance of CAT machinery.

Salary: £35,000 - £39,800 (£15.60 - £17.82 per hour)

Job Description:

You will work on manual machines such as Lathes, Milling Machines, and honing machines, and plan jobs through various stages of manufacture, deciding the correct machinery, tooling, and processes to be used.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in operating manual machines, Milling, turning, and drilling
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Benchwork skills
  • Checking and assessing of old parts and components prior to remanufacturing
  • Use of hand tools and measuring equipment such as Verniers, Callipers, micrometres, gauges, etc.
