Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced and motivated reporter to join our team and cover Leeds United. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for football and excellent news sense, with the ability to break or advance stories. They'll also be able to analyze situations, add perspective, and tell rich, ambitious features through deep reporting and access.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong network of sources to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Analyze game footage, statistics, and other relevant data to provide insightful analysis and commentary.
  • Write engaging articles and features that showcase your unique voice and perspective.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share information and ideas, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
  • Engage with our audience through social media and other platforms to build a loyal following.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a journalist or reporter, preferably in a sports-related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of professional football and Leeds United, including their history, players, and recent performances.
  • Familiarity with journalistic best practices and a keen eye for detail.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
