About the Role

As an Electrical Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers in the Swindon region. This is a field-based role that requires a strong understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams and the ability to interpret them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit customer sites to undertake installation, service, and support of Microlise products.
  • Complete survey visits and identify suitable solutions for customers.
  • Perform QA visits on Microlise products and peripherals in customer assets.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain the safety and upkeep of your vehicle and provided tools/equipment.
  • Liaise with customers at all levels, providing professional support and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with peers and contractor resources as needed.
  • Ensure administration is concise, accurate, and professional, adhering to internal processes and procedures.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar electrical field service role, preferably with auto electrics and/or telematics expertise.
  • A full UK driving license and valid passport for travel.
  • Experience working to Service Level Agreements and Operational Schedules.
  • An understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams and the ability to interpret them effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different audiences.
  • The capacity to work autonomously, solve problems independently, and adhere to agreed processes.
  • Taking pride in your work, ensuring quality and accuracy in all aspects of your role.
