Job Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and inspirational leader to lead our team of staff and students at Wings School Notts. As a Head Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering quality education and care to our students, ensuring their academic, social, emotional, and cultural wellbeing. You will work closely with our Principal and other senior leaders to develop and implement our educational strategy, ensuring that our school is a place where students can learn, grow, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the school team to deliver quality education and care to students.
• Develop and implement the school's educational strategy, working closely with the Principal and other senior leaders.
• Ensure the school's self-evaluation framework is up-to-date and that the school is making the best possible use of resources.
• Deliver a programme of enrichment opportunities to support the academic, health, social, emotional, and cultural wellbeing of students.
• Foster and role model a culture of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Requirements

• Hold QTS (or QTLS), a degree, and NPQH. (Qualification in SEND education desirable).
• Have substantial, demonstrable leadership and management experience in a SEN school and of developing and managing staff teams.
• Have recent experience of successfully leading schools through Ofsted inspections and ISS requirements.
• Have experience of involvement in school self-evaluation and development planning.
• Be able to commute to Wings School Notts.
