Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team at The Best Jobs. As a key member of our compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring our business operates in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on regulatory matters, including PSD2, FCA conduct of business rules, financial crime prevention, and anti-money laundering.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures.
  • Design and implement a risk-based compliance monitoring plan.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and their impact on our business.
  • Design and deliver compliance training programs to colleagues.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory returns.
  • Oversee and support the wider risk management framework.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a compliance advisory role, with a minimum of 4 years spent working in an FCA-regulated firm.
  • Excellent technical ability, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Commercially-minded and able to communicate complex regulatory issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable to change and highly organized.
