About the Role
Sense is seeking a Deputy Service Manager to oversee the adult social care provision at Sense College Aldeby. This is a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave for approximately 14 months.
As the Deputy Service Manager, you will be responsible for working with the staff team to deliver a range of activities, including swimming, sensory activities, arts and crafts, rebound therapy, and music. You will also work with the Education Services Manager to ensure that the training, development, and management of staff effectively reflect the needs of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the adult social care provision at Sense College Aldeby
- Work with the staff team to deliver a range of activities
- Collaborate with the Education Services Manager to ensure effective staff training and development
Requirements
- A full UK license and use of your own vehicle is essential
- A minimum of Level 2 in Maths and English
- Proven experience of supervising and line managing staff
- A good understanding of Safeguarding
