Head of Application Services

Severn Trent Water Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Technology team as the Head of Application Services.
About the RoleWe are looking for a proven IT leader who can provide clear leadership and strategic direction for the Apps & platforms across our technology network. As our Head of Application Services, you will be responsible for guiding and growing an engaged, talented, high-performing team who are capable of building and supporting critical applications across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for resource planning of the IT operational requirements for software applications, as well as new demand and change requirements.
- Responsible for development standards across STW Technology, encompassing the full lifecycle from requirements gathering, innovation through design, product selection, procurement, implementation, support & maintenance.
We'll be looking for you to have a proven track record of delivery pipelines, incident management, and being able to manage a wide and disparate set of stakeholders. You'll also need to have experience of working in an environment of multiple apps with a matrix of solutions.
