As a key member of the Merchandising team at Success Talent, you will play a vital role in planning and executing stock intake and sales strategies to drive business growth. Your primary responsibility will be to support the team in buying the right stock at the right time at the right price, ensuring seamless stock management and optimal sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in planning and coordinating stock intake, ensuring accuracy and completeness of related documents.
- Monitor stock levels and report on real and potential requirements to relevant stakeholders.
- Place orders and communicate with suppliers, updating systems with delivery dates and relevant supplier information.
- Chase suppliers and service providers to ensure timely receipt of stock and meet critical deadlines.
- Manage supplier relationships, costings, and pricing.
- Produce weekly reports highlighting potential missed sales orders, delays, and duplicates.
- Monitor critical path to ensure all intake dates are met.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as required by the Management team.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, able to provide prompt, efficient, and personalized service to internal and external customers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring departmental policies are followed, and driving business growth through effective stock management and sales strategies.
