We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary School in Liverpool.

The role of a Graduate Teaching Assistant is a varied and flexible position, with every day presenting new challenges and opportunities.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will provide supervision of classes across the Maths curriculum, ensuring engagement and task completion by pupils. You will also create a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment, and provide feedback to the class Teacher on pupils' achievement progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision of classes across the Maths curriculum
  • Supervise pupils, ensuring engagement and task completion
  • Create a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Provide feedback to the class Teacher on pupils' achievement progress
Requirements
  • Experience of working with the 11-16 age group
  • Flexibility, creativity, patience, and a sense of humour
  • Enhanced DBS (on the update service)
  • CV covering the last 10 years of employment
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Overseas police check, if applicable
  • Two references (covering the last two years)
