CNC Programmer/Machine Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Machine Operative to join our team at Wenbar. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machines and will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Read technical drawings to determine the correct setup and operation of the machine.
  • Perform quality checks on finished parts.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines.
  • Make adjustments to the machines as needed.
Requirements:
  • CNC programming experience: 2 years (required)
  • Experience with Titan Fibre Laser / Press Brake.
  • Experience with software packages/programmes Carveca / Enroute.
  • Experience with Tekcel / Multicam machines.
  • Current driving license and access to a vehicle (our location is not accessible by public transport).
Work Environment:

Work location: In person – on-site – Stow Maries, Chelmsford.

Job type: Full-time, Permanent.

Salary: Dependent on experience.
