Cedar is seeking a seasoned Tax Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the direct tax compliance cycle. This leadership role will report directly to the Head of Tax and will oversee one direct report. Your focus will be on corporate tax compliance and reporting, as well as managing HMRC enquiries. Key responsibilities include:
**Tax Compliance and Reporting**
* Prepare and manage UK Corporation Tax Returns and all relevant corporate tax group schedules
* Lead the preparation of tax disclosures for all UK & Irish financial statements
* Collaborate with the Tax Business Partner roles to deliver consistent and accurate tax advice across all business units and initiatives; for example, maximizing R&D credits, capital allowances, and support on M&A/transactional work
* Manage the compliance and reporting processes and controls, with a focus on continuous improvement, including annual SAO compliance projects
**Team and Environment**
* The role will be part of a high-performing, reputable tax team where standards are well maintained
* You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the development of our tax function
* The role requires you to be based in either our Peterborough or London office, with a requirement to be present 3 days a week
