We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front End Developer to join our team at VirtueTech Recruitment Group. As a key member of our development team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of financial technology and redefining trading experiences for the market.

Our client is a dynamic Trading House specialising in cross-asset derivatives, and they are embarking on an exciting journey to revamp and reimagine their front-end architecture. This transformative initiative encompasses the Clearing, Risk, and Click & Trade platforms, focusing on enhancing performance and scalability.

The goal is to empower our customers and traders with a distinct advantage, delivering real-time data, actionable insights, and advanced analytics. As a Full Stack, React Engineer, you will enjoy considerable influence and freedom in steering the development journey.

No prior financial services experience is required; if you have it, great, but if not, the company is committed to training and developing the right candidate. Salary: Up to £100,000 + Strong Bonus + Benefits. Hybrid working: 2 days a week from the London-based Offices in Liverpool Street.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, coding, and testing all components of modern web applications.
  • Contributing heavily to the overall architecture and design of the front-end applications.
  • Ensuring delivered systems are of production quality and adequately documented for handover to the business.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record and professional experience in a Full Stack Development role, focusing on Front-end, Software design, and architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and building event-driven user interfaces.
  • Proven expertise in React for front-end development and C#/Node.JS for back-end development.
  • GraphQL is a big plus, as is proficiency in SQL and Redux.
  • Methodical approach to software architecture and design, with experience employing the right design choices for a given project.
  • Experience working within a Financial Services Environment with Front Office collaboration.
  • Understanding of financial markets and trading concepts is a plus, but not essential.
