As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve their vocational goals. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Guide clients through the entire journey from engagement to in-work support
  • Forge connections with local employers to uncover job opportunities that align with participant preferences
  • Work with community health teams and job centres to develop strong referral networks
  • Advocate for participants in the workplace, supporting them and their employers through the journey to sustained employment

**Requirements**

  • Deep understanding of employment barriers and their impact on individuals with disabilities and neurodiversity
  • Proactive and outcome-oriented approach to supporting diverse participant needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the ability to build strong connections with clients, colleagues, and external partners
  • Competent navigator with the ability to handle complex tasks and influence others towards achieving employment goals
