Fire Service Support Specialist

As a Fire Service Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing an efficient and effective emergency service to the community of Staffordshire.
The role requires you to live or work close to a fire station, with the ability to respond immediately to emergencies. You will work as part of a team, providing emergency response cover from your home or work base.
Key requirements for this position include a real wish to support your local community, an enthusiasm and willingness to work in a team environment, and a good level of physical fitness. You will also need to agree a declaration of availability with the local Station Manager.
As an On-Call Firefighter, you will be involved in community fire safety initiatives, including safe & well and school visits. You will also have the opportunity to attend additional training throughout the year, ensuring you maintain your skills and stay up-to-date with the latest techniques.
