Warehouse Operations Manager

A highly skilled Senior Warehouse Supervisor is required to contribute to the overall success of our distribution centre environment, ensuring it remains a productive, safe, and positive place to work. Working closely with the General Manager, this position is responsible for the management, planning, and execution of day-to-day operations within the distribution centre.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce and distribution operations, with experience in managing a team within a fast-paced warehouse environment. They will be responsible for ensuring the distribution centre is optimally organised to provide excellent customer service to clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision and mentoring of the leadership team within specific areas of the business
- Maintaining a continued focus on financial and operational performance
- Working with the General Manager to drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains to reduce overall cost
- Collating, reviewing, and reporting daily/monthly operational data to relevant internal stakeholders at agreed times
- Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Coaching, training, and developing Supervisors and Team Leaders
- Completing client incident reports requested by the Business Management team
- Ensuring the layout is optimally aligned for maximum efficiency as seasonality and inventory needs require
- Planning and managing resource effectively and accurately according to forecasted volume for respective clients
- Responsible for the control and safekeeping of IT/Operational equipment
- Ensuring client needs are met, and service is managed to KPIs in line with specific client SOWs
Requirements:
- Experience within a similar role
- Experience of managing a team within a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Good technical knowledge of E-commerce/distribution operations
- JDE/WMS/ADP knowledge would be an advantage
- Computer literate with proficiency in all Microsoft programs
- Ability to interact and communicate at all levels both internally and externally
Qualifications:
