About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Engagement Officer to join our Behaviour Change and Travel Plans team within the Transport and Infrastructure service area.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing sustainable and healthy travel interventions, providing technical support, and leading on behaviour change projects.

You will engage with colleagues across the Council to integrate sustainable travel priorities into policy and practice, and represent the Council at school events, public exhibitions, and other engagements involving students and parents.

About You

We are looking for a degree-educated or experienced professional with a strong understanding of current transport issues and a passion for active travel or behavioural change projects.

You should have excellent communication skills, IT proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
