Key Responsibilities:- Lead a small team of driver colleagues, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
- Implement ongoing training initiatives to keep team members updated on new products, customer requirements, best practices, and company policies.
- Respond to urgent customer requests as directed by the scheduling team or management team.
- Conduct comprehensive induction training for new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.
- Provide feedback on performance, including knowledge, attitude, and skills to individuals and management.
Requirements:
- Excellent service delivery and driving skills.
- Full UK manual Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points.
- The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS check.
- Due to the nature of waste we handle and the customers we service, it is mandatory for drivers to have vaccinations against Hepatitis B, tetanus/polio.
