Group Financial Director

Job Summary:
SF Recruitment is partnering with a Fylde-based, owner-managed, diverse group to find a highly skilled Group Financial Controller. This critical role reports directly to the Finance Director and plays a key part in the development of the business as it continues to scale and expand.
This opportunity offers a motivated individual the chance to grow with the business during its next phase, providing exposure to leading a finance function, reporting into a credible and astute Finance Director, with a direct line of sight to the MD, Chairman, and NED.
The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining the financial control environment, including all finance operational processes and business systems.
- Managing finance and operational systems, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.
- Treasury and cash management, optimizing financial resources and minimizing risk.
- Cash forecasting, providing accurate and timely financial projections.
- Billing, credit control, and purchase ledger management, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
- Integration of new acquisitions, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with existing financial systems.
- Governance, maintaining a clean audit report and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supporting commercial teams on margin improvement plans, driving business growth and profitability.
This role offers a competitive salary of £70k - £80k, plus bonus and benefits, with a requirement for 5 days of office work per week.
