About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Healthcare Science Associate to join our team in the Chester & Wirral Microbiology Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality laboratory support to our medical microbiology team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Attain a minimum of NVQ Level 4 in Biomedical Science or a Foundation Degree in Biomedical Science or a full BSc relating to biology or chemistry.
  • Develop good communication skills and an excellent telephone manner.
  • Provide laboratory experience essential.
  • Experience in microbiology or molecular biology would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
