We provide in-depth advice on strategic, financial, regulatory and commercial issues driving investments in infrastructure across Transport, Power & Utilities, and Social Infrastructure in the UK and globally.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director with a Finance background to join our fast-growing Power & Utilities Projects team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the utilities and energy sectors in the UK, as well as experience advising on projects in this area.

You will lead client engagements, manage our advice on engagements, and produce high-quality client outputs. Additionally, you will operate at the C-suite and board level with developers, investors, and regulators, and build enduring client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial, procurement, regulatory and financial advice on large and complex projects.
  • Manage client engagements on a day-to-day basis.
  • Produce, review and oversee development of high-quality client outputs.
  • Operate at the C-suite and board level with developers, investors and regulators.
  • Build enduring client relationships and become the go-to person for structuring and financing major projects.
Requirements
  • Expertise in providing financial advice, particularly on project finance transactions.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of working on major projects.
  • Understanding of key value drivers in projects including policy, regulation, financing, investments and markets.
  • Experience in financial analysis using core techniques and methodologies in project finance and corporate finance.
  • A good understanding of scenario modelling and quantification of financial risk and impacts on financial viability.
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
